Purpose
Assign and identify the Section that is responsible for each of the control areas.
There are three areas of responsibility.

In the toolbar on the Assets browse window or Asset edit window.
How to… Assign Responsibility for an Asset to a Section
1. Click 
then Responsibilities in the toolbar on the Asset edit window.
The Responsibilities for Asset window opens.
2. Click +.
A new row appears in the Responsibilities for Asset window.
3. Select the Responsible Area.
4. Double-click in the Section data field and open the Section lookup list.
5. Select the responsible Section from the Section lookup list.
The Description or Code is populated.
6. Repeat steps 2 to 5 for each Responsible Area.
7. Save the record.
