Data fields

These data fields are captured or displayed on the Work Order - Modification tab.

Field	Description/Setting
Modification Control
Proposal Number	The modification proposal number that was issued. For example “WRR233-564”.
Investigated	Ticked if the modification proposal has been investigated.
Investigated By	The name of the staff member who investigated the asset modification defaults to the User’s Code.
Investigated On	The date on which the modification proposal was investigated.
Approved	Ticked if the modification proposal concept and design has been approved by the User who is logged in.
Approved By	The name of the User who approved the asset modification proposal.
Approved On	The date on which the modification proposal was approved.

Business rules

If the Asset requires a permit, then a permit is also required for the Work Order.

Please note!

Modification Control data is only recorded if the Work Order is to modify an Asset, for example, if the Work Order is to move the Asset to a different location or install a new production line.
Make sure that a work permit is issued before the work commences, and record approval for each of the modification project’s proposal steps.
