Synchronise using IntelliSync

Purpose

Using IntelliSync allows the user to simplify synchronisation between the Assets and the Asset Type Tree. IntelliSync is an intelligent layer over the standard On Key Synchronisation process, to assist with only Synchronising the items that really requires it.

It identifies the following:

• Changes on the Asset Type side by comparing dates with the Last IntelliSync Date in the System Options.
• Unsychronised items on the Asset side
• Searches the Asset Type change log for any changes that has not been Synchronised yet.

It then takes these detected changes and runs them through the normal Synchronise process.

The below image shows an example of how the user can choose to run IntelliSync.

The user can check the last IntelliSync run on the Menu - Shared Configuration - System Options - General tab.

The setting is displayed here in case the user needs to override it.

Please note!

• IntelliSync applies to the whole Asset Register, irrespective of the level in the tree which the user is in.
