Set selected Asset as Root

Purpose

Identify the root Asset for a specific user and only display that branch of the Asset Tree.

Where to Find

Click  then Set selected Asset as Root in the toolbar on Asset Tree window.

How to… Set selected Asset as Root

1. Open the Asset Tree window.

2. Highlight the Asset that is required as the root of the Asset Tree.

3. Click  then Set selected Asset as Root.

As a result...

• The Root Asset is changed on the User - UI settings tab for the current User. Refer to ACCF > Master Data for Shared Configuration > Users > User - UI Settings tab.
• The selected branch of the full Asset Tree is displayed in the Asset Tree window.
