Development Statuses

Purpose

A Development Status is associated with every item (and its linked detail records) in the Asset Type Tree and the Asset Tree.
An item's Development Status appears to the left of the node icon in the Asset Type Tree and Asset Tree.

Asset Type Tree Development Status Icons

These Development Status icons appear in the Asset Type Tree.

Status Icon	Code / Acronym	Description	Meaning
	0 / NUD	New - Under Development	New item is under development
	1 / NAC	New - Awaiting Confirmation	New item is ready to be accepted or rejected.
	2 / MUD	Modified - Under Development	Existing item is undergoing further development in the Asset Type Tree.
	3 / MAC	Modified - Awaiting Confirmation	Existing item's development changes are ready to be accepted or rejected.
	5 / DAC	Deleted - Awaiting Confirmation	Existing item is waiting for its deletion to be accepted.
	6 / DC	Deleted - Confirmed	The item will be physically deleted after all Assets that are linked to this Asset Type are synchronised, and development is accepted or rejected. The item can be viewed until it is physically deleted by ticking the Display Option Show Deleted Confirmed objects in the Asset Type Tree. The item cannot be edited.
	7 / C	Confirmed	Item’s development has been accepted.

Asset Tree Development Status Icons

These Development Status icons appear in the Asset Tree.

Status Icon	Code / Acronym	Description	Meaning
	1 / NAC	New - Awaiting Confirmation	New inherited item is ready to be accepted or rejected.
	3 / MAC	Modified - Awaiting Confirmation	Inherited item's development changes are ready to be accepted or rejected.
	5 / DC	Deleted - Awaiting Confirmation	The inherited item is ready for its deletion to be accepted, after which the item is no longer visible.
	7 / C	Confirmed	New Item’s development has been accepted.

Initial Status of an item

In the Asset Type Tree the initial Development Status is “New - Under Development”.
In the Asset Tree the initial Development Status is “Confirmed” if the item was added, and “New - Awaiting Confirmation” if the item was inherited in the Asset Tree.

Please note!

Modifying and deleting an item affects the item's Development Status, and the Development Status of its inherited items.
The Code associated with a Development Status is required by Query Builder.
