Asset Care Plan Development

An Asset Care Plan (ACP) is a generic maintenance plan that is developed for each Asset Type, and applied to all Assets that are based on the Asset Type.

An ACP for an Asset Type comprises all the common Tasks that are required to maintain Assets that are based on the Asset Type.

An ACP for an Asset comprises all the inherited and custom Tasks that are required to maintain the Asset.

Scope and Objectives

Asset Care Plan development covers the areas and disciplines required to plan and implement an effective Asset Maintenance Plan that provides the best mix of maintenance tasks at any given time, based on various operational parameters and taking into account operational parameters such as production demand.

The objectives of the ACP development are the following.

To provide a user-friendly method of simulating the real world in terms of Asset maintenance management.
To produce Asset Care Plans (ACPs) that are easy to understand, reference, develop and maintain.
To facilitate the implementation of an optimum Asset Maintenance Plan.
