How to… Add an Asset Importance

2. Click Asset Register - Asset Configuration - Asset Importances then .
The Asset Importance edit window opens.

3. Click + in the toolbar.

4. Enter the required data in each of the applicable tabs.
Header
Details
Notes, if required.

5. Save the record.

Data fields

These data fields are captured or displayed on the Asset Importance - Header and Details tabs.

Field	Description/Setting
Code	A unique code that identifies the Asset Importance. For example “CRIT” or “LOW”.
Description	A description of the Asset Importance. For example “Critical” or “Low Work Importance”.
Site	The Site to which the Asset Importance applies. A User with access rights to this Site can view and use this Asset Importance. Select a Site from the lookup list.
Active	Ticked if the Asset Importance code is active and available in a lookup list.
Details tab
Weight	The weight given to the Asset's Importance when calculations are performed. For example “3” or “10”.
Reference Colour	The colour that identifies the Asset's Importance when doing analysis. For example “Yellow”. Click to select the required colour from the palette.
