Purpose
Build and maintain a comprehensive technical database of all the physical Assets that need to be in the organisation’s Asset Register and can be maintained, assessed and/or monitored.
Asset Register
An Asset Register is a record of physical assets at a factory, plant or facility.
On Key is an Enterprise Asset Management System that can be used to manage any type of Asset.
The Asset Register in On Key is used to:
Maintain all Assets in a hierarchical tree structure.
Store technical details about each Asset.
Build and store work, assessment and performance tracking history for each Asset or group of Assets.
Key Points
Work to be performed on Assets is recorded as a Work Order.
Work history can be recorded for Assets if the organisation is licensed to use the On Key Maintenance Manager module the applicable Assets are maintenance significant items (MSI).
Assets can be assessed according to specific assessment criteria if the organisation is licensed to use the On Key Identification and Assessments module, in which case the Asset must be an assessment significant item (ASI).
Asset performance can be tracked online or offline if the organisation is licensed to use the On Key Performance Manager module, in which case the Asset must be an online or offline performance significant item (PSI).
