Purpose

Asset Type Folders provide a mechanism for grouping Asset Types at the top of the Asset Type Tree.

When is it Used?

To organise the Asset Types into groups identified by the Asset Type Folder s.

For example, “Functional Units”, “Sub Assemblies”, “Machines”, “Buildings” and “Lines”.

Business rules

• An Asset Type folder can be added to the root of the Asset Type Tree, or to another Asset Type folder.
