Break link to Standard Task in an Asset model

Purpose

Break the link between an inherited Standard Task in an Asset model and its original Standard Task.

How to… Break Link to Standard Task in an Asset model

1.   Open the Asset Tree window then expand the Tree to the required level.

2.   Click the inherited Standard Task for which the link to the original Standard Task must be broken.

3.   Click  then Break Link Standard Task in the toolbar on the Asset Tree window.

As a result...

• The Task’s Inheritance Type is “Original”.
• The Task’s Development Status is “Confirmed”.
• The Task's item node is , indicating that it is an original Task.
• The following data field values are all cleared
• • Ancestor Confirmed On
  • Synchronised with Type Object
  • Ancestor Rules Changed On
  • Rule Last evaluated On
  • Rule Evaluation Passed
