Data fields

These data fields are captured or displayed on the Component - Details tab.

Description/Setting

Details

Quantity

The number of units required for the Asset Type or Asset.

Reference colour

Only for an Asset Component

The colour that identifies the Component in the Analysis Time Line and Downtime Component window if Performance Monitoring is used (Off-Line Performance Management or On-Line Performance Management have a non-zero Limit in the Help, About window). [OK5R5]
Click  to select a colour from the palette.

Stock Item

The Stock Item code of the Component if it is a Spare is linked to a Warehouse.

Stock Items and Coded Non-Stock Items can be linked to a Warehouse; the Stock Items are kept in stock in the Warehouse and the Coded Non-Stock Items are not kept in stock in the Warehouse.

Part Number

The number that the organisation uses to identify this Component.

Specification

Specification details about the Component.

Supplier

The organisation that supplies the Component.

Select a Code from the lookup list.

Supplier Part Number

The number that the Supplier uses to identify this Component.

Placeholder

Note: Only for a Component Placeholder

Asset Type Placeholder

The generic Asset Type from which the Component is derived.
For example, “PUMP”.

Linked Asset Type

The specific Asset Type from which the Component is derived.
For example, “PUMP - Centrifugal”.

In the Asset Type Tree the Asset Type and its Components are re-used as Components.

In the Asset Tree the Asset Type and its Components are inherited as Components.

Criticality Configuration

NOTE: This section will only be displayed if the Criticality Configuration module is enabled. Check your On Key license to determine whether you have access to this functionality.

Criticality Model

This indicates which Criticality Model applies.

Inherit Parent Criticality

This indicates whether the parent’s Criticality is included in the Criticality calculation.
