A Pump consists of a Motor, Gearbox and Coupling, each of which requires work that is specified with certain Tasks.

If the Pump is an Asset for which a history of costs and failures is required then it must be identified in Asset Tree with “MAPO”, which indicates MSI.

If a history of costs and failures is required for the Gearbox and Coupling then they must also be configured as Assets and MSIs.

If a history of costs and failures is not required for the Gearbox and Coupling then they must be configured as Components.
