Rights to use Development Functionality

Purpose

Identify access Rights to Development Status functions for Asset Types, Assets and Standard Tasks.

Rights to use Development Status functions

Access rights that determine whether a user is allowed to use the Development functionality are assigned using the Standard Configuration - Roles and Standard Configuration - Users menu options.

Rights with Category = “Other”, Business Object = “Change Management” and Action Type = “Additional” identify the Actions that can be assigned to a Role and User.

The following Rights apply to Development functionality.

Approve or reject development changes for all items in the Asset Type Tree
Approve or reject development changes for all items in the Asset Tree
Approve or reject development changes for Standard Tasks
Make development changes for Asset Types
Make development changes for Assets
Make development changes for Standard Tasks

Access rights to Development Status functions are applicable to Roles, Users and a User at a Site.
