Task - Dates and Readings tab

Data fields

These data fields are captured or displayed on the Asset Task - Dates and Readings tab.

Field	Description/Setting
Current Asset Scenario
Asset Scenario	The Scenario specified on the Asset - Maintenance tab is displayed. If Scenario is changed on the Asset then is it inherited by the Asset Task when the Asset is saved.
Task Interval for this Scenario	The frequency with which this Task must be scheduled is displayed in days using the Default Interval specified on the Task - Scheduling tab. The Task Interval for this Scenario is used to calculate the Asset Task’s Estimated Next Due Date.
Scenario is Active on Task	Ticked if the Scenario is active in the Scenarios for Asset Task window.
Dates and Readings
Last Scheduled Date	Only if Scheduling Method is “Schedule from Last Scheduled” on the Task - Scheduling tab. The last date for which Proposed Work Orders were generated and created for this Asset Task. The Last Scheduled Date can be in the future. Select the date after which the Asset Task will be scheduled.
Last Scheduled Reading	The meter reading on the date on which the Task was scheduled by the Proposed Work Orders.
Last Done Date	Only if Scheduling Method is “Schedule from Last Done” on the Task - Scheduling tab. Not applicable for an Asset Task with an “Event Based” Interval Type. The most recent date on which a Work Order that includes this Asset Task was closed is displayed.
Last Done Reading	The meter reading on the date on which a Work Order that includes this Asset Task was closed.
Last Done Cumulative Reading	The cumulative meter reading over the life of the Asset is displayed.
Estimated Next Due Date	The next date on which the Asset Task is scheduled to be executed is calculated if Scenario is Active on Task is ticked. An Asset Task's Estimated Next Due Date is calculated when Proposed Work Orders are generated and created for the Asset Task, and is determined by the scheduling logic and the Scheduling Method. For non-“Usage” based tasks the Estimated Next Due Date is calculated as follows: If the Scheduling Method is “Schedule from Last Done”, then the Estimated Next Due Date = [Last Done Date + Task Interval for this Scenario]. If the Scheduling Method is “Schedule from Last Scheduled”, then the Estimated Next Due Date = [Last Scheduled Date + Task Interval for this Scenario]. For “Usage” based Tasks the Estimated Next Due Date is calculated as follows. [Meter’s Last Reading Date + [(Estimated Next Due Reading - Meter’s Last Reading) / Meter’s Average Daily Rate].
Estimated Next Due Reading	The estimated meter reading on the date on which the Asset Task is scheduled to be executed only applies to “Usage” based Tasks and is calculated if Scenario is Active on Task is ticked. For “Usage” based Tasks the Estimated Next Due Reading is calculated as follows: If the Task's Scheduling Method is “Schedule from Last Done”, then the Estimated Next Due Reading = [Meter’s Last Done Reading + Task Interval for this Scenario]. If the Task's Scheduling Method is “Schedule from Last Scheduled” then the Estimated Next Due Reading = [Meter’s Last Scheduled Reading + Task Interval for this Scenario].
Meter Information
Average Daily Rate	The Meter’s Average Daily Rate is calculated based on meter readings and then displayed.
Current Reading	The most recent meter reading is displayed.
Last Reading Date	The date that the Last Reading was taken.

Business Rules

If there are multiple Scenarios linked to a task, the system would not know which Scenario to update. If it updates all the Scenario Interval Codes, the user would not know what the original values were in order to change them back. For this reason the system will only update the Scenario if there is only one Scenario linked to the Task.
If one Scenario is linked to the task and the system automatically updates the Interval Code after the user has changed the Task Default Interval, a warning will be displayed informing the user that the Scenario Interval Code has also been changed. – “W10692: The Default Interval has been changed and therefore the Scenario Interval was updated automatically.”
If there is more than one Scenario linked to the task, the original warning message will be displayed: “W15030: The Default Interval has been changed, but Scenario Intervals were not updated automatically. Please update the Scenario Intervals manually if required.”

Please note!

Manually change (or batch update) an Asset's Scenario value when the relevant operational conditions apply. The new Scenario is inherited by the applicable/all Asset Tasks for this Asset during synchronisation.
The Scenario is Active on Task determines whether the Task is included in Proposed Work Orders for the Asset.
The Meter Information group will only display on the Dates and Readings tab if the Asset Task’s Interval Type is “Usage”.
