These data fields are captured or displayed on the Asset Type Task - Planning tab or the Asset Task - Planning tab.

Section |
Defaults to “UNKNOWN”. Select the responsible Section from the lookup list of all Sections. |
Trade |
Defaults to “UNKNOWN”. Select the responsible Trade from the lookup list of all Trades. If a Trade is not selected and a Labour record is added for or linked to an Asset Task then Trade defaults to the Trade that is specified for the Labour record. |
Staff Member |
Defaults to “UNKNOWN”. Select the responsible Staff Member from the lookup list of all Staff Members. |
Durations (in Hours:Minutes) |

Motion Type |
Identifies whether the Asset must be moving or stationary when the Asset Task is executed. Possible values are “Stationary', “In Motion” or “Irrespective”. Select a Motion Type that minimises downtime, always bearing in mind safety. |
Component Count |
The number of Component units is displayed. Defaults to the Quantity specified for the Component, or defaults to “0” of the Task is added to an Asset Type or Asset. |
Duration per Unit |
The time required for each Trade to complete this Task on one Component unit. Calculated as å[Labour Duration required for each Trade] if Labour is specified for the Task. For example, 00:30 to replace one gear. |
Total Calculated Duration |
Calculated as [Component Count x Duration per Unit]. The system assumes that the Component Count is “1” when the default value is “0”. |
Downtime per Unit |
The planned time that the Component unit will not operate while work is performed. If the Component unit can operate while the Task is executed then Downtime is 00:00. |
Total Calculated Downtime |
Calculated as [Component Count x Downtime per Unit] |
Total Downtime |
Total Calculated Downtime plus the planned time that the Asset will not be running before and/or after work is performed. For example, 00:15 standing time is allowed to prepare the Asset for maintenance. If the Asset can be running while the Task is performed then Downtime is 00:00. |
