Asset Register Tree Structure

Asset Trees and Asset Type Trees are hierarchical structures.

Nodes in the tree structures

A node is a point that gives structure to the Asset Trees and Asset Type Trees, and each point in the hierarchical structure is a node.

Each level in the hierarchy has an icon that identifies the item that is associated with the node, for example as an Asset Type, Asset, Component or Task.

The node icon that identifies each item in an Asset Type model and Asset model is described for each item in the Items in the Asset Type Tree and Items in the Asset Tree sections of this chapter.

Display Options for tree structures

Click  then select Display Options to view the display options frame.

The node icons in a tree structure are always displayed.

The Sort Order parameter determines the sequence in which items at the same level in a branch of a tree are listed in the Asset Tree and Asset Type Tree.
