Criticality Models

Note: The Criticality Models menu item will only be available if the Criticality Configuration module is enabled. Check your On Key license to determine whether you have access to this functionality.

Purpose

Criticality models are used in criticality analysis to calculate the importance of an asset, asset type or component.

How to… View Criticality Models

Click Main Menu → Asset Care Plans → Criticality Configuration → Criticality Models → Show Browse Window () to open the Criticality Models browse window.

Business Rules:

• If a Criticality Model has been assigned to an Asset type, Asset or Component (ie if it exists in the “astCriticalities” table), Consequence Categories, Consequences and Probabilities may not be added or deleted.
• The sum of the Consequence Category weighting must equal to 100% within a Criticality Model – only applies to the “weighted sum” formula.
• For a Criticality Model with formula “weighted product”, no Consequences or Probabilities with a value =0 can be selected. No weighting can be specified.
