The On Key Financials module is used to configure the financial structures and data that are used to track and record the cost of work, including Budgets.
Where to Find
Click Financials on the Main Menu.
On Key can operate as a single currency system or a multicurrency system for an enterprise.
Financial values do not include VAT or GST.
Different Sites can operate in different Financial Years.
Configure the Financials data for budget templates in the following sequence.
1. Add a Budget Template.
2. Link the Budget Template to each Site.
Configure the Financials data for budgets and costing transactions in the following sequence.
1. Add the Financial Year.
2. Link the Financial Year to each Site.
3. Add the Budget based on the Budget Template (by Cost Centre and Cost Element, for each Financial Period in each Site Financial Year).
4. Add Budget Records if a Budget Template has not been used to create Budgets.
5. Change Budget Amounts, if necessary.
