Purpose
Add a general ledger account for use in costing transactions and budget transactions.
How to … Add a General Ledger Account
Open the General Ledger browse window and click the Insert New Record () button on the toolbar to open the edit window.
Complete the fields on the Header tab.
Click the Save Changes () button to create the new general ledger.
Note: You can add user defined fields to general ledgers. View the User Defined Fields lesson to learn how to create user defined fields.

Identifies the site that will have access to this general ledger. Users with access rights to this site can view and use this general ledger. |

Indicates whether the general ledger is available for use in On Key. |
