Proposed Work Order Split Options

The split options determine how the asset tasks are separated into proposed work orders. The Split Options tab includes the following options and settings:

Tasks with different values for the following classifications will be generated on separate Work Orders

Task Classification (Description) 1-8

Specifies whether separate proposed work orders should be created for tasks with specific task classifications. For example, if you select the 'Task Classification 6' checkbox, then tasks with that classification will be separated into their own proposed work orders, while tasks with other classifications might be grouped into proposed work orders.

Tasks with different values for the following responsibilities will be generated on separate Work Orders

Trade

Specifies whether tasks with different responsible trades should be split into separate proposed work orders.

Section

Specifies whether tasks with different responsible sections should be split into separate proposed work orders.

Staff Member

Specifies whether tasks with different responsible staff members should be split into separate proposed work orders.

Tasks with different values for the following operational conditions will be generated on separate Work Orders

Motion Type

Specifies whether tasks with different motion types should be split into separate proposed work orders.

 

For example, you can select this checkbox if you do not want proposed work orders to include a combination of stationary and in-motion tasks.

Machine State

Specifies whether tasks with different machine states should be split into separate proposed work orders.

 

For example, you can select this checkbox if you do not want proposed work orders to include a combination of running and not-running tasks.

Interval

Specifies whether tasks with different interval types should be split into separate proposed work orders.

 

For example, you can select this checkbox if you do not want proposed work orders to include a combination of calendar-based and interval-based tasks.

Tasks with different values for the following properties will be generated on separate Work Orders

Type of work

Specifies whether tasks with different types of work should be split into separate proposed work orders.

 

For example, you can select this checkbox if you do not want proposed work orders to include a combination of inspection and preventive tasks.
