Suppressor Task message on Proposed Work Orders

Purpose

Identify a Task that is suppressed by another Task for the same Proposed Work Order.

Failed Reason message

The “Task is suppressed by parent Task: ‘xxxx’ Due on: yyyy-mm-dd” message identifies a suppressed Task.

Please note!

- Example -

A Task called “Check oil levels” is done weekly, and a Task called “Replace Oil” is done monthly.

There is no point in checking the oil levels if the oil is to be replaced, so the “Check oil levels” Task would be configured as a Suppressed Task of the “Replace Oil” Task.

As a result the “Check oil levels” Task would appear as a suppressed Task on a Proposed Work Order that also includes the monthly “Replace Oil” Task.
