These data fields are captured or displayed on the Work Request - Request tab.

Request

A description of the required work.
For example ‘Please fix the leak’ or ‘Inspect and fix”.

Request for Asset

 

Asset

The Asset that failed must be a MSI (maintenance significant item). Double-click the asset code to open the asset's edit window.

If the Work Request has not been linked to a Work Order then use the Asset list lookupor the Asset Tree lookup to select the Asset.

Requester

 

Requested By

The name of the person who initiated the Request, defaults to the user’s User Name.

Select a code from the lookup list.
For example “Jan Van Zyl”.

[OK5R5] This person is identified as the Requester in On Key Extensions.

Requested On

The date and time on which the Requestor requested service.

Mobile

Address 1-3

The Requestor’s contact details.

Work Order

 

Work Order

The Work Order that has been raised to repair the Asset that failed, and solves the problem, if applicable.

The Work Order's Status is displayed.

Select the applicable Work Order from the lookup list if it already exists.
