“Running” Message on Proposed Work Orders

Purpose

Identify when the Currently Running setting on the Asset - Maintenance tab and the Motion Type setting on an Asset Task for the same Asset (Asset Task - Details tab Asset Task) are not compatible.

Failed Reason message

The “Machine is Running” or “Machine is not Running” error message identifies the suppressed Task.

Conditions for Suppression

The Task is suppressed if:

• The Task’s Motion Type setting is “Only when In Motion” and the Asset is not in motion (Currently Running on the Asset - Maintenance tab is not ticked).
• The Task’s Motion Type setting is “Only when Stationary” and the Asset is in motion (Currently Running on the Asset - Maintenance tab is ticked).

How to... Fix “Running” error messages for Proposed Work Orders

1.   Synchronise the Asset with the Asset Type on which it is based.

2.   If Currently Running on the Asset - Maintenance tab is not ticked then ensure that the Task’s Motion Type setting is “Only when Stationary” or “Stationary or In Motion”.

3.   If Currently Running on the Asset - Maintenance tab is ticked then ensure that the Task’s Motion Type setting is “Only when In Motion” or “Stationary or In Motion”.
