Defaults to the Commodity for the Material Master Item

Cost Element

The default Cost Element for Work Order Tasks - Work Task Spares.

Defaults to the Cost Element for the Material Master Item, but can be changed.

Category

The Category to which the Stock Item is linked allows the materials planner to sort records according to category, which assists with planning duties.

Defaults to the Category for the Material Master Item, but can be changed.

Classification

Free format.

Stock Item

Defaults to the Stock Item setting for the Material Master Item, but can be changed.

Ticked if the Stock Item is available for the Warehouse.

Insurance

Ticked if the value of the Stock Item is such that it needs to be depreciated.

Storage

Bin

The bin number where the Stock Item is stored in the Warehouse.
For example “98755” or “101”.

Unit of Measurement

The smallest quantity that can be ordered and issued.
For example “Each” or “Box” or “Litre”.

Item Size

The size or dimensions of the Stock Item.
For example “200mm”.

Supplier

Preferred Supplier

The preferred company that supplies the Stock Item.

Defaults to the Preferred Supplier for the Material Master Item, but can be changed.

For example “BEAR” for “Bearing Man”.

The Supplier's description or name is displayed.

Supplier Part Number

The code that the Preferred Supplier uses to identify the Stock Item.

Defaults to the Supplier Part Number for the Material Master Item, but can be changed.

Lead Time in Days

The number of days that is required to deliver the stock when it is ordered.

Defaults to the Lead Time in Days for the Material Master Item, but can be changed.
