Purpose
Define the default values that apply to specific monitoring techniques used at Monitoring Points, and specify the applicable Alarm Types for Monitoring Point Readings that are out of bounds.
A Monitoring Point Type is a template for a type of Monitoring Point, and the values specified for a Monitoring Point Type are the default values for a Monitoring Point to which it is linked.
