Purpose

Identify the characteristics that apply to Asset Types and Assets.

How to… View Options

1.   Click Asset Register - Options and Rules - Options then .
The Options browse window opens.

Business rules

• An Option may not be deleted if it is referenced in a Rule.
• An Option may not be deleted if it is linked to an Asset Type.
• The Data Type must be specified for the Option.
• The Code, Data Type and Allow Multiple Values setting cannot be changed if the Option is referenced in a Rule.
