A capacity loss is any event that negatively impacts on an asset's ability to produce or assemble the desired quantity of products. For example, a component failure that results in a bottling machine filling only 800 bottles per hour instead of the 1000 it is capable of, results in a capacity loss of 200 bottles.
The Capacity Loss Reasons browse window lists all the capacity losses that have already been configured. It offers the standard browse window functionality, including the Query Builder, filtering, and profiles.
To access the Capacity Loss Reasons browse window, you need to select Main Menu → Performance Manager → Loss Configuration → Capacity Loss Reasons → Show Browse Window ().
