Performance Manager

Introduction

The Performance Manager module provides offline asset performance monitoring functionality that enables you to monitor, measure, and compare assets' productivity levels and efficiency.

Information collected using the Performance Management module can be used to:

• Analyse the underlying causes of slow running, short stops, and asset downtime
• Benchmark production figures against best practice models
• Calculate Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and Overall Plant Performance (OPP)

Configuring Performance Manager

In order to make use of the Performance Manager functionality, you need to configure the following:

• Time, capacity, and quality loss reasons
• Products and production batches
• Shifts and shift sets
• Users

You also need to configure the relevant assets or assets types by linking the following:

• Shift sets
• Users
• Capacity and quality loss reasons
• Products

Accessing Performance Manager

The Performance Manger functionality can be accessed by expanding the Main Menu and selecting the Performance Manager module.
