Search Index Definition Browse Screen

The Search Index Definition browse screen lists all the search index definitions that have been created. To access the Search Index Definition browse screen, open the Main Menu, select Shared Configuration → Search Index Definitions, and then click the Show Browse Window () button.

The browse screen displays the existing search index definitions in a table with the following columns:

Active
Site — VIRTUAL-GLOBAL indicates that this search index definition will be available to all users who have the 'Search Index' right
Site Description
Code — This is the search index definition's name. This name will appear in the list of available search index definitions in the Search screen.
Description
Rebuild Required — Indicates whether the search index definition needs to be rebuilt
Last Modified
Last Modified by User Description

The Rebuild Index () button on the toolbar enables you to rebuild the selected search index definitions.

Double-click a search index definition in the table to open the Search Index Definition edit screen.
