Add Standard Languages

Purpose

Add a Standard Language that can be used to translate item Descriptions for custom reports that are developed by the organisation.

How to… Add a Standard Language

1.   Click Shared Configuration - Standard Languages then  Edit.
The Standard Language edit window opens.

    

2.   Click + in the toolbar.

3.   Enter the required data on the applicable tabs.

4.   Save the record.

Data fields

These data fields are captured on the Standard Language - Header and Details tabs.

Description/Setting

Code

The code used to identify the Standard Language.

Description

The name of the Standard Language.

Site

The Site where this Standard Language is used.

A User with access rights to this Site can view and use this Standard Language.

Select a Site from the lookup list.

Active

Ticked if the Standard Language is active and available in a lookup list.

Details tab

 

Short Descriptor

The unique code assigned to each language by Worldlingo for translation purposes.
