Add Standard Phrases

Purpose

Add a Standard Phrase that can be used to translate an item’s Alt. Description into the Standard Languages that are used by and configured for the organisation.

How to… Add a Standard Phrase

1. Click Shared Configuration - Standard Phrases then Edit.
The Standard Phrase edit window opens.

2. Click + in the toolbar.

3. Enter the required data on the applicable tabs.

4. Save the record.

Data fields

These data fields are captured on the Standard Phrase - Header tab.

Field	Description/Setting
Phrase	The Standard Phrase. Can include Unicode characters.
Site	The Site where this Standard Phrase is used. A User with access rights to this Site can view and use this Standard Phrase. Select a Site from the lookup list. For example, select the non-virtual Site “EPPING” if the Standard Phrase is only used by the “EPPING” Site, or select the virtual Site “VIRTUAL-GLOBAL” if the Standard Phrase is used by all Sites.
Active	Ticked if the Standard Phrase is active and available in a lookup list.
