Move a Site in the Sites hierarchy

Purpose

Move “Virtual” and “Non-Virtual” Sites to reflect the required hierarchy.

Before you start

• Add the Sites.

How to… Move a Site

1.   Click Shared Configuration - Sites then .
The Sites window opens.

2.   Highlight the Site to be moved.

3.   Click >> then Edit then Cut.

4.   Highlight the Asset to which the Asset must be moved.

5.   Click >> then Edit then Paste.
The Site is moved to its new position in the hierarchy.

6.   Repeat from step 2 for each Site that must be moved.

As a result...

• The selected Site is moved in the Site Tree.

Please note!

• The Site Tree is locked to access by other users when using the cut and paste functionality.
• A User must have the “Change Right ” Right.
