Sorting Columns

Purpose

Sort data in one column in a grid list into ascending or descending sequence in order to analyse the information.

Where to find

A column name is displayed above a grid list in a browse window or edit window.

How to… Sort grid data by one column

1. Click the column name.

2. Click the column name to toggle between ascending and descending sequence.

Note:

• ▲ appears above the column name if the column is sorted in ascending sequence
• ▼ appears above the column name if the column is sorted in descending sequence.
