Trade Edit Window

The Trade edit window consists of three tabs: Header, Related Trades, and Notes.

Header tab

The Header tab provides identification and hourly rate information for the trade. The following table describes the fields:

Header

Code

Specifies the unique code used to identify the trade.

Description

Provides a short description for the trade.

Site

Specifies the site the trade applies to.

Active

Specifies whether the trade is available in lookup lists.

Note: A trade cannot be made inactive if it is linked to a staff member or section.

Is Virtual

Specifies whether the trade is virtual.

Note:

  • Only virtual trades can have related trades.

  • A virtual trade cannot be made non-virtual if it has related trades.

  • A trade cannot be made virtual if it is linked to a virtual trade or a staff member.

Rates Per Hour

Site Currency

Indicates the currency used by the site.

Note:

  • The currency is predefined based on the selected site.

  • The Normal Time and Overtime rates will need to be adjusted manually if the Site is changed.

Normal Time

Specifies the normal hourly rate for the trade.

Overtime 1 - 3

Specifies three tiers of overtime rates for the trade.

Related Trades tab

The Related Trades tab lists the trades that are linked to this trade.

Note: Only virtual trades can have related trades.
