Testing Scheduled Triggers

On Key provides the functionality to the user to be able to Test Scheduled Trigger Notifications. This serves as a mechanism to be able to test whether the notification reached its intended recipients with the correct message via the required communication channels.

How to...Test a Scheduled Trigger Notification

Note: A Scheduled Trigger Notification must be created before using this functionality

1. Navigate to the Scheduled Trigger browse screen
2. Open an existing Scheduled Trigger.

3. Then click on the envelope icon provided in the menu bar

4. The dialogue box below will be displayed. Click on "yes" to continue. The system will manually override the existing trigger date and time, and generate the scheduled notification immediately.
