The following standard functions can be performed on items in an Asset Type model and rules apply for each function.
An item in the Asset Type Tree can be changed or deleted if its Development Status is “New - Under Development”, “New - Awaiting Confirmation”, “Modified - Under Development”, “Modified - Awaiting Confirmation” or “Confirmed”.
When the changed item is saved then its Development Status changes to “Modified - Under Development”.

Apply the last confirmed changes for the selected item (Asset Type, In-Place Asset Type, Asset Type Placeholder, Linked Asset Type, Component, Task or linked detail record) to the corresponding items in each inherited Asset model that is based on this item’s parent Asset Type, and from the selected record down in the tree structure for each child item and its linked detail records. Tick Apply to descendants to apply the last confirmed changes for an Asset Type to the corresponding items in each Asset model that is based on a Sub Asset Type, Linked Asset Type or Linked Component of this Asset Type, and from the selected record down in the tree structure for each child item and its linked detail records. Referred to as “Push Down Synchronisation”. |
