The Location edit window consists of four tabs: Header, Staff Members, Geographic Data, and Notes.
The Header tab provides identification and contact information for the location. The following table describes the fields:

Specifies the unique code used to identify the location. |
Description |
Provides a short description for the location. |
Site |
Specifies the site the location applies to. |
Parent |
Identifies the parent location. Child locations can inherit staff members and sequence numbers from their parent location. |
Active |
Specifies whether the location is available in lookup lists. |
Contact |

Contact |
Specifies the name of the contact person for this location. |
Phone |
Specifies the contact number for this location. |
|
Specifies the email address for this location. |
Address 1 - 3 |
Specifies the physical address for this location. |
The Staff Members tab lists the staff members that are linked to this location.
The Geographic Data tab indicates the location's physical location on a map, along with its GPS co-ordinates.
This tab offers functionality similar to that of the Geographic Data tab of the Asset edit window.
