Work Order - Task Classifications tab

Purpose

Provide default Task Classifications that are used as grouping options for Work Orders if Task Classification Allowed Values are not specified for:

• the Asset Tasks from which the Work Order’s Tasks originated, or
• the User who added the Work Order.

Data fields

These data fields are captured or displayed on the Work Order - Task Classifications tab.

Please note!

• Eight Task Classifications are defined. Their Description can be customised and their Allowed Values can be defined in the Shared Configuration module. Refer to Classifications.
• The Task Classification for a scheduled Work Order matches the Task Classification that was selected as a combination option for the Proposed Work Order from which the scheduled Work Order was created (on the Generate Proposed Work Orders Filter - Split Options tab).
• The Task Classifications for an unscheduled Work Order must be selected.

Example

Work Orders were created from a list of Proposed Work Orders with the following options selected on the Generate Proposed Work Orders Filter window.

The following scheduled Work Order shows that it was created with the selected option.
