Asset Edit window

How to… Open an Asset edit window

1. Click Asset Register - Asset Tree then .
The Asset Tree window opens.

2. Expand the tree structure and highlight the required Asset.

3. Double-click the Asset Code and Description.
The Asset edit window opens.

Please note!

An Asset Type is only displayed in the Asset Type lookup if Selectable for an Asset is ticked on the Asset Type edit window.
The Site lookup displays all virtual and non-virtual Sites until the Licence Options are ticked on the Asset - Details tab. After the Licence Options are ticked then the Site cannot be changed. If a virtual Site is selected for a maintainable Asset then the error message “MSI must be linked to actual Site” is displayed.
To correct the error click to change the Site and then select a non-virtual Site.
Tick the Licence Option Maintain the Asset (MSI).
