Purpose
Add Tasks for the work that was or will be performed.
How to… Link Tasks to a Work Order
1. Open the Work Order edit window for the required Work Order.
2. Click then Tasks on the Work Order edit window.
The Tasks for Work Order window opens.
3. Click to select (from the All Tasks Lookup list) and add a Task that is configured for the specified Asset to the Work Order.
4. Click to select and add a Standard Task to the Work Order.
5. If Spares, Labour and/or Special Resources apply to the Work Order, not a specific Task, then click and select the “DEFAULT” Task for which details about Spares, Labour and Special Resources can be added.
6. Save the record.
7. Link Task Labour required details to the Work Order Task. Link Task Labour required details to a Work Order
8. Link Task Labour used details to the Work Order Task if the work is complete.
9. Link Task Spares details to the Work Order Task.
10. Link Task Special Resource details to the Work Order Task.
11. Refresh the Tasks for Work Order window to display Sub-Tasks and Follow Up Tasks.

Mark all Tasks except Follow Up Tasks as complete. A message appears for Follow Up Tasks, which must be manually set to “Complete”. |
