As a result…
- The Asset Type Task’s Development Status does not change.
- Accept development of the Asset Type Task.
Refer to Development Functionality > Accept Development of an item in an Asset Type model.
- The Asset Type Task is no longer synchronised with its inherited Asset Tasks in the Asset Tree.
- Synchronise the Asset Type Task with its inherited Asset Tasks in the Asset Tree.
Refer to Development Functionality > Synchronise Asset Type items with inherited Asset items.
- When the Asset Type Task is synchronised with the corresponding Asset Task in the Asset Tree then:
-
- the Asset Task in each inherited Asset model that is based on this item’s parent Asset Type inherits confirmed changes from the Asset Type Task.
- The corresponding Asset Task is changed in each inherited Asset model that is based on a descendant Sub Asset Type of this item’s parent Asset Type.
Please note!
- If the Sort Order parameter on the Tree Display Options window is set to “Sequence Number” then a Task’s Sequence Number determines its sequence on the same level and with the same parent in the Asset Tree. Use the Sequence Number to view the Tasks in a logical sequence.
